ID3DXPMesh::GenerateVertexHistory

Generates an immediate ancestor for each vertex when it is removed by a vertex split. Allows generation of a geomorph.

Parameters

pVertexHistory
[in] Pointer to an array of parent vertices that were used to form the current vertex. Cannot be NULL.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK. If the method fails, the return value can be one of the following: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL, E_OUTOFMEMORY.

Remarks

The vertex buffer must be equal to or greater than the maximum number of vertices in the progressive mesh.
