A PIX run file (identified with the file extension .PIXRun) contains data that is collected during an experiment. Frame statistics, call logs, and full call-captures can be stored as run files. Data gathered and stored in a run file can be read by subsequent PIX experiments, or used to reproduce a suspected bug.
To analyze and debug the information contained in a run file, PIX implements several different views. These views open by default.
The details view supports additional tabs for viewing objects. When the details view opens the first time, a summary tab, a render tab and a mesh tab are displayed. However, you may create any of the following tabs to view other object types.
