The IDirectMusicGraph interface manages the loading and message flow of tools.
Graphs can occur in two places: performances and segments. The graph of tools in a performance is global in nature, in that it processes messages from all segments. A graph in a segment exists only for playback of that segment.
The IDirectMusicGraph interface has the following methods:
| Routing | StampPMsg |
| Tools | GetTool |
| InsertTool | |
| RemoveTool |
All COM interfaces inherit the IUnknown interface methods. This interface supports the following three methods:
| IUnknown | AddRef |
| QueryInterface | |
| Release |
