Structures

A new structure, DPAPPLICATIONDESC, has been added in Microsoft® DirectPlay® 6.0, and new flags have been added to the existing DPSESSIONDESC2 structure.

Several new data members were added to structures for DirectPlay 5.0, and these are supported in DirectPlay 6.0. Applications that need to be backward-compatible with DirectPlay 3.0 run times should either:

• use the structures that existed in the DirectX 3.0 header files.
• check the dwSize member in each structure before attempting to access to members of the structure.
