Applications use the methods of the IDirectSound3DListener interface to retrieve and set parameters that describe a listener's position, orientation, and listening environment in 3-D space. The interface is obtained by using the IDirectSoundBuffer::QueryInterface method. For more information, see Obtaining the DirectSound3DListener Object.
