IKsPropertySet

The IKsPropertySet interface is part of the WDM KS (Win32® driver model kernel streaming) architecture. It allows driver to provide extended capabilities that can be used without extensions to an API. DirectSound supports this interface for accessing properties of sound drivers.

To retrieve this interface, call the QueryInterface method of any interface on a DirectSound buffer.

  Windows NT/2000: Requires Windows 2000.
  Windows 95/98: Requires Windows 95 or later. Available as a redistributable for Windows 95.
