ID3DXEffect::GetFloat

Retrieves a FLOAT value associated with an effect.

  LPCSTR pParameter,
  FLOAT* pf
);

Parameters

pParameter
[in] Name of the parameter to retrieve the floating-point value from.
pf
[out, retval] Pointer to a FLOAT, containing the returned FLOAT.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is S_OK.

If the method fails, the return value can be D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.
