ID3DXEffect::GetVertexShader

Retrieves a vertex shader associated with an effect.

HRESULT GetVertexShader(
  LPCSTR pParameter,
  DWORD* pHandle
)

Parameters

pParameter
[in] Name of the parameter to retrieve the vertex shader from.
pHandle
[out, retval] Pointer to a DWORD, containing the returned vertex shader.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is S_OK.

If the method fails, the return value can be D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.
