ID3DXPMesh::OptimizeBaseLOD

Optimizes the base level of detail (LOD) part of a ID3DXPMesh object.

  DWORD* pFaceMap
);

Parameters

Flags
[in] A combination of one or more flags from the D3DXMESHOPT enumeration, specifying the type of optimization to perform.
pFaceMap
[in] Face remap array that indcates how the triangles were rearranged.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK.

If the method fails, the return value can be one of the following values.

D3DERR_INVALIDCALL
E_OUTOFMEMORY
