ID3DXPMesh::TrimByVertices

Modifies the minimum and maximum level of detail (LOD) of a ID3DXPMesh object.

  DWORD  NewVerticesMin,

  DWORD* rgiFaceRemap,
  DWORD* rgiVertRemap
);

Parameters

NewVerticesMin
[in] New minimum number of vertices. This parameter must be between current minimum and maximum number of vertices.
NewVerticesMax
[in] New maximum number of vertices. This parameter must be between current minimum and maximum number of vertices.
rgiFaceRemap
[out] Returns one DWORD per face that contains face remap information.
rgiVertRemap
[out] Returns one DWORD per vertex that contians vertex remap information.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK.

If the method fails, the return value can be one of the following values.

D3DERR_INVALIDCALL
E_OUTOFMEMORY
