The CreateSegment method creates a DirectMusicSegment object that can be played in order to perform the volume, pan, transposition, and patch change commands in the band dynamically.
Syntax
HRESULT CreateSegment(
IDirectMusicSegment** ppSegment
);
Parameters
ppSegment
Address of a variable that receives a pointer to the created segment.
Return Values
If the method succeeds, the return value is S_OK.
If it fails, the method can return one of the error values shown in the following table.
