The AnalogTVTuningSpace object represents a tuning space specific to analog TV networks.
Interfaces | IAnalogTVTuningSpace |
Outgoing Event Interfaces | None. |
The AnalogTVTuningSpace object is obtained through the SystemTuningSpaces object and is used to create ChannelTuneRequest objects for terrestrial or cable analog channels.
It is important to understand that, while analog tuning spaces are supported in the Microsoft Unified Tuning Model, these tuning spaces are never actually used in the tuning process because there are no analog TV devices based on the Broadcast Driver Architecture (BDA). When an application submits an analog tune request to the Video Control, the Video Control simply extracts the channel number and creates a WDM analog TV filter graph (if one does not already exist).
