ComponentType

The ComponentType object contains descriptive information about a Component object.

A component type object is accessed through the Component object that represents a particular MPEG-2 elementary stream. The component type categories are “not set”, “other”, “Video”, “Audio”, “Text”, and “Data.” (See ComponentCategory.) Types are further described in terms of their DirectShow media type (see AM_MEDIA_TYPE).
