The BeginTrans method begins a repository transaction. During a transaction, all changes to the repository are deferred until GuideStore.CommitTrans is called, at which time changes are saved and the transaction ends. Use of transactions is optional.

Parameters
This method takes no parameters.
Error Codes
If the method fails, an error is raised and Err.Number is set to a value other than zero.
Return Values
This method does not return a value.
