MetaProperties Object

This topic applies to Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional only.

The MetaProperties object manages a collection of MetaProperty objects associated with other objects, including the following:

• Channel
• ChannelLineup
• GuideDataProvider
• Program
• ScheduleEntry
• Service

The collection is viewed as an array so that individual objects can be accessed using an integer index.

The MetaProperties object is handled by the IMetaProperties interface, which can be obtained by using the following methods:

• IChannel::get_MetaProperties
• IChannelLineup::get_MetaProperties
• IGuideDataProvider::get_MetaProperties
• IGuideStore::get_MetaPropertiesOf
• IMetaProperties::get_ItemsWithMetaPropertyType
