ILocator::get_SymbolRate

The get_SymbolRate method retrieves the QPSK symbol rate.

Syntax

HRESULT get_SymbolRate(
    long* pRate
    );

Parameters

pRate

[out] Pointer to a variable of type long that receives the QPSK symbol rate.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if successful. If the method fails, error information can be retrieved using the standard COM IErrorInfo interface.

Remarks

QPSK modulates symbols onto the RF signal. These symbols are detected by the demodulator and used to reconstruct a bit stream. QPSK allows the rate at which symbols are (de)modulated to be changed.
