IMSVidDevice::get__ClassID

This topic applies to Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional only.

The get__ClassID method retrieves the device's class identifier (CLSID) as a GUID.

Syntax

HRESULT get__ClassID(
  GUID*  pClsid
);

Parameters

  pClsid

[out]  Pointer to a variable of type GUID that receives the CLSID.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include the following.

Value Description
S_OK Success.
E_POINTER NULL pointer argument.
