The get_Item method retrieves the object at the specified index.
Syntax
HRESULT get_Item(
VARIANT varIndex,
IUnknown** ppunk
);
Parameters
varIndex
[in] Specifies the item to be retrieved. This must be a VARIANT of subtype VT_I4 containing an index in the range from 0 to the value returned by IObjects::get_Count minus 1.
ppunk
[out] Address of a variable to receive a pointer to the IUnknown interface of the retrieved object.
Return Values
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.
Return code | Description |
S_OK | The method succeeded. |
E_INVALIDARG | varIndex is not a valid type, or does not specify an existing object. |
E_POINTER | Data cannot be read from or written to a supplied address. |
