This popup menu contains three selections: Widths, Kerning Pairs, and Kerning Track. Since these are only appropriate for proportional-width fonts, they are disabled for fixed-pitch fonts.
The width table contains the exact specification, per-character, of the widths of characters in proportional fonts. Track- and pair-kerning are used to fine-tune character spacing.
