VOID Disable(VOID) |
The Disable function disables the network driver. Windows calls Disable when it is closing down. It also calls Disable when Windows is preparing to be suspended, for example, just prior to switching away to a non-Windows application.
This function has no parameters.
This function has no return value.
The export ordinal for this function is 34.
If a network driver needs to hook an interrupt, it should make such a hook during the Enable function and remove it during the Disable function. This would prevent the driver's hook routine from being called when Windows was swapped out to disk.
Windows calls Disable before the calling the driver's WEP function.
