The Hatch Fill box contains the printer command or commands which fill a rectangle with a hatched pattern.
For the Diconix 150 Plus printer, the Hatch Fill box is empty.
For the HP LaserJet IIP printer, the Area Fill ID and the Fill Rectangular Area are combined into a single command. The Area Fill ID command (ESC*cnG) specifies the hatch pattern and the Fill Rectangular Area command (ESC*cnP) fills a rectangular area.
The argument n specifies the hatch pattern is the Area Fill ID command; n specifies the type of fill in the Fill Rectangular Area command. The following lists the command and its respective values and patterns.
Command | Value | Hatch or Fill |
Area Fill ID | 1 | Horizontal hatch pattern. |
2 | Vertical hatch pattern. | |
