Summary:

When changing focus on edit fields in the Define Color dialog box, the

focus can seem to disappear. This disappearance occurs when you

attempt to use the UP or LEFT ARROW key to change focus from the

Cancel button.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Visual Basic

programming system version 1.0 for Windows. We are researching this

problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

More Information:

Steps to Reproduce Problem

--------------------------

1. Run Visual Basic (VB.EXE) version 1.0.

2. From the Window menu, select Color Palette.

3. Click on the Custom Colors button.

4. Click a box, then choose Define Colors.

5. Tab to the Cancel button.

6. Press UP or LEFT ARROW.

The focus is no longer visible on a button or edit field. The

COLOR|SOLID control actually has the focus, but certain window

controls, (for example, picture controls) do not have any visible

indication that they have the focus.
