Summary:
The AdLib and Sound Blaster drivers for Microsoft Multimedia Windows
do not accept patch change information through the SysEx function or
otherwise. Therefore, an application cannot perform bulk editing can
be done because the driver does not accept (or reply to) bulk dump
requests.
The standard patches are implemented in the drivers, which will be
available to MIDI authors. If your application downloads custom
patches in a device-dependent manner (for example, through SysEx),
please inform Microsoft Product Support Services of this.
