SYMPTOMS
The Setup program for the Microsoft QuickC for Windows (QC/Win)
Graphical Development Environment version 1.0 will not delete all
the component libraries after it builds the combined libraries.
Normally, all component libraries should be deleted by the Setup
program after the LIBW utility has built all specified combined
libraries. However, three component libraries will always be left
in the \qcwin\lib subdirectory after installation is complete:
LIBH.LIB, NOQWIN.LIB, and QWIN.LIB.
RESOLUTION/STATUS
These component libraries have no practical stand-alone use, and
may safely be deleted by the user.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in QuickC for Windows
version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here as it becomes available.
