Summary:
Using the MAKE utility version 4.07 (shipped with C version 5.1) with
C version 6.0 or 6.0a, or QuickC version 2.0, 2.01, 2.5, or 2.51, and
redirecting the output of the compiler to append to a file, does not
work correctly.
The redirected output from these compilers under MAKE will always be
written starting at the beginning of the file, rather than appended to
the end of the file. Redirecting the output from these compilers works
properly if done using the NMAKE utility that shipped with the
aforementioned compilers, or if using a batch file.
