Summary:

PROBLEM ID: PRSQL9103043

SYMPTOMS

The following error messages are received when using the BCP

utility:

Operating-system error: No such file or directory.

DB-LIBRARY error: Unable to allocate sufficient memory.

CAUSE

The BCP utility does not successfully load a data file into a

database table when the BCP data file was created using the BCP

utility and the table has a user-defined default value binded to it

that is of text or image type.

RESOLUTION

Create a table that reflects the same type of data types as the

table just BCP'd from, excluding the default definitions. BCP the

data into this duplicate table.
