Summary:
SYMPTOMS
The Programmer's WorkBench (PWB) extensions for the Microsoft
Source Profiler version 1.0 (PWBPROF.MXT and PWBPROF.PXT) will
cause problems when used with PWB version 1.0. Under DOS, the
system will hang when PWB attempts to load the extension. Under
OS/2, a SYS1811 general protection error occurs.
RESOLUTION/STATUS
The PWB extensions that come with the Microsoft Source Profiler
were built for and require PWB version 1.1 or higher. This
information was inadvertantly left out of the System Requirements
section on page 1 of the "Microsoft Source Profiler User's Guide."
The only solution is to upgrade PWB.
