Summary:
In rare situations, the Microsoft Link Utility may generate the
following error:
fatal error L1113: unresolved COMDEF; internal error
Reports indicate that this error may be generated by the linker in the
following situations, but Microsoft has not been able to duplicate the
error with these scenarios:
1. Using LINK version 3.65 while linking a file produced by Microsoft
C version 5.1. Using LINK version 5.01.21 solved this problem.
2. Using incremental compile (/Gi) and incremental link (ILINK) in
Microsoft C version 6.0. Performing a nonincremental compile and
link solved this problem.
