Problem:
The location counter updates incorrectly in the following expression:
OFFSET X:MSG+ERRMSG
Three bytes of instruction are generated, but the location counter is
only incremented be two. Replacing the "+" with a "." increments by
three.
Response:
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Version 5.00. This
problem was corrected in MASM Version 5.00a. Please contact Microsoft
Product Support Services by calling (206) 646-5109 to obtain the MASM
Version 5.00a update.
