PROBLEM ID: QCW9201004
SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft QuickC for Windows (QC/Win) version 1.0, the /FO and
/FE options will be automatically removed if they are added to the
Custom Options field of the Options Project Resources dialog box.
CAUSE
These options are not valid options for the resource compiler. The
online help for Custom Options incorrectly states that the /FE
option will rename the executable file containing the resources and
the /FO option will rename the resulting .RES file to a new name.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in QC/Win version 1.0.
We are researching this problem and will post new information here
as it becomes available.
