PROBLEM ID: OLM9103002
SYMPTOMS
When issuing a DosWriteMailSlot() call on a DBCS (IBM PS/55)
computer, the function completes successfully on the DBCS DOS 4.x
redirector (NETWKSTA.400 or REDIR40.EXE); however, the message is
never delivered to the specified computer or computers in the
specified domain. The message class of the mail slot must be set
to 2.
CAUSE
This problem only occurs when DosWriteMailSlot() is used on a DBCS
(IBM PS/55) computer.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in OS/2 LAN Manager
version 2.00b. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here as it becomes available.
