PROBLEM ID: WIN9105008
SYMPTOMS
When the Canon LBPIII.DRV printer driver (shipped with the Windows
Supplemental Drivers Library) is installed in the debugging version
of Windows version 3.0, and an application prints a document, the
driver will cause a fatal exit or will hang Windows.
CAUSE
The LBPIII.DRV driver is incompatible with the debugging version of
Windows.
RESOLUTION
Install the CANONIII.DRV driver that is provided with the Windows
version 3.0 retail release.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows version
3.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here as it becomes available.
