SYMPTOMS
A program that executes DOS interrupt 21H Function 44H Subfunction
09H (IOCTL: Check if block device is remote) against a remote drive
on a Basic workstation running MS-DOS version 4.01 with HIMEM.SYS
always reports that the drive is LOCAL.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DOS LAN Manager
version 2.00b. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post
new information here as it becomes available.
