Summary:

PROBLEM ID: PROLM9012014

SYMPTOMS

When trying to log off using the NET.EXE program (in DOS only), if

there are any connections to an LPTx port, the following message is

displayed:

Logging off will terminate these connections...

Do you want to continue this operation?

Choosing OK results in an error message stating that the user

cannot be logged off because there are existing connections.

RESOLUTION

The logoff will succeed if performed from the command line or if

the connections are deleted before using the NET.EXE program.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DOS LAN Manager

version 2.0b. We are researching this problem and will post new

information here as it becomes available.
