SYMPTOMS
When trying to use the command COPY A+B from a remote drive on a
DOS 4.01 basic or enhanced workstation, the following error message
is returned, and file A is deleted:
Access Denied: - T:A (Enhanced LAN Manager)
Extended error 5: (Basic LAN Manager
RESOLUTION
Run the command from the local drive. For example:
COPY T:A + T:B
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in LAN Manager version
2.00b. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here as it becomes available.
