Summary:
PROBLEM ID: PROLM9012003
SYMPTOMS
After removing a device driver adapter with SETUP.EXE, the driver
does not load properly.
CAUSE
If two of the same adapters are installed and Setup is used to
remove one of them, the PROTOCOL.INI file is not updated properly
if the first adapter is removed before the second.
RESOLUTION
Remove the drivers in a last in, first out manner (that is, remove
the second one before the first).
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in OS/2 LAN Manager
version 2.00b. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here as it becomes available.
