2.00 GOLDEN and CSD1
OS/2
Summary:
In the DOS LAN Manager version 2.00 packaged product (GOLDEN), the
NE3200.DOS and CPQTOK.DOS drivers are located on the OS2 drivers disk
due to lack of space on the DOS drivers disk. This has been changed
under DOS LAN Manager version 2.00a (CSD1) with the addition of a
second DOS drivers disk.
The distribution of DOS drivers is different for the CSD1 release than
it was for the GOLDEN release.
The GOLDEN distribution is as follows:
The following files are located on the OS2 Drivers disk:
MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\TOKENRNG\CPQTOK.DOS
MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\NE3200.DOS
The CSD1 distribution is as follows:
The following files are located on the DOS Drivers 2 disk:
DRIVERS\TOKENRNG\CPQTOK.DOS
DRIVERS\ETHERNET\NE3200.DOS
- Under the CSD1 release, Setup will ask you to insert both the DOS
drivers disk 1 and disk 2 to install the correct drivers.
- Under the GOLDEN release, wait until Setup asks if you have any
drivers to import, insert the OS2 drivers disk, and click OK. The
next screen will contain a dialog box that looks similar to the
following:
+----------------------------------------+
[ ] All drivers
[ ] COMPAQ 32-bit Token Ring, EISA
[ ] Novell NE3200, EISA

+----------------------------------------+
Make your choice and click OK. Setup will proceed to copy the
drivers you specified. When it is done copying the drivers, Setup
will ask you if have any more drivers to import. At this point,
either choose NO and continue with the rest of the Setup program,
or choose YES and return to the dialog box shown above.
