Installation and Update Guide" incorrectly states that program
information files (PIFs) have been included for the following
development utilities:
MAKE
NMAKE
PWB
This is an error in the documentation. The Microsoft Windows Software
Development Kit (SDK) version 3.0 does not include PIF files for these
applications. The SDK does, however, include LINK.PIF for use with the
Microsoft Link Utility.
To create PIF files for the Windows development utilities included
with the SDK, you can use the PIF Editor included with the Windows
retail product. Chapter 12 of the "Microsoft Windows User's Guide"
provides additional information on PIFs and the PIF Editor.
