Summary:
SYMPTOMS
In version 3.4 of the PostScript printer driver, it is not possible
to change the default source and paper size settings using the
DM_MODIFY mode of the ExtDeviceMode function.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows version 3.0
and version 3.4 of the PostScript driver. We are researching this
problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
More Information:
In version 3.4 of the PostScript printer driver, the DM_MODIFY mode of
the ExtDeviceMode function can change the paper orientation, the
number of copies, and the scaling. It is also possible for the user to
change the default source and paper size using the DM_PROMPT mode of
the ExtDeviceMode function.
