Summary:
When running CodeView version 3.0, 3.1, 3.11, 3.12, 3.5,or 4.0 on a
network, you must have rights to create and write to files in the root
directory of the file server or CURRENT.STS will not be updated after
exiting.
More Information:
CURRENT.STS is a state file used by CodeView and PWB (Programmer's
WorkBench) to store the configuration of the editor or debugger when a
session is terminated. This allows the environment to be restored to
the same state when CodeView or PWB is restarted.
When running on a network, the CURRENT.STS file will not be updated
without rights to the root directory. This has been demonstrated on
Novell and LAN Manager network installations. To work around this
problem, the network administrator must give users sufficient rights
to the root directory.
