Test Driver "Line Too Long", Line Limited to 253 Characters

Summary:

Each line in the Test Driver Edit window is limited to 255 characters,

but you can actually only enter 253 characters. The last two positions

are reserved for the carriage return plus linefeed (CR+LF) combination

that is automatically added to the end of each line.

If you try to enter more than 253 characters, you will receive a

message box stating "Line too long", and you will be prevented from

entering anything other than an ENTER keystroke for that line of code.

This information applies to Microsoft Test version 1.0 for Windows.
