Authorware contains drawing tools for creating polygons, rectangles, ellipses, circles, lines, and arrows, as well as pattern fills and color selection. It also ships with a simple frame-animation editor that allows the author to create Movies from bitmaps or object graphics. The Macintosh version ships with a waveform editor; waveforms digitized on the Mac and stored in Sound icons can be moved into Authorware for Windows for playback.
Frequently used routines may be loaded into a Models menu for access any time during authoring. A Productivity Library containing numerous models is provided, as well as Authorware Movies, graphics, and sounds.
