Putting Bitmaps into Embedded Windows

An embedded window is a window that displays a bitmap (or other multimedia element) in a fixed-size area within a topic. Bitmaps in embedded windows look the same as bitmaps displayed with bm bitmap references. However, you can display bitmaps with up to 256 colors in an embedded window. (Bitmaps displayed using bm references can have no more than 16 colors.) Because users cannot minimize, maximize, or resize an embedded window, these windows are generally used for pictures that will maintain a consistent size within a topic.
