The MCGA256.DRV display driver uses a 320-by-200 display format with a 256-color palette. Your application might require this driver when it needs a full color palette on a standard VGA display. On high-resolution displays, your application might require this driver when the ability to rapidly update a large display area is critical to your application. With the exception of the 320-by-200 display, this display driver has the same operating characteristics of the Windows V7VGA.DRV display driver.
