As mentioned earlier in this chapter, the [OPTIONS] section should contain a BMROOT option telling Viewer where to find bitmaps positioned by the bmc, bml, and bmr references. This option has the following syntax:
BMROOT=pathnames
If you enter more than one path, separate the paths with commas (,). Viewer looks in the given paths to find the bitmaps. The following example shows an abbreviated view of the [OPTIONS] section used for the sample USA.MVP file:
[OPTIONS]
BMROOT = .\dibs
This option tells Viewer that the bitmaps shown in the previous example can be found in the \VIEWER\USA\DIBS subdirectory.
Note:
Another way to identify bitmaps is to list the filenames individually in the [BITMAPS] section of your project file. See Chapter 17, “Project File Format,” for more information.
