Commands on the File menu let you open or save graphic files.
| Command | Description |
| Open | Displays a different graphic file in the Hotspot Editor window. You can open 16-color bitmaps, metafiles, or existing bitmaps with hot spots. You can also have more than one graphic file open at one time. |
| Save | Saves a bitmap with hot spots. The Hotspot Editor displays a warning if you are overwriting the original bitmap. |
| Save As | Saves a bitmap with hot spots under a different name. |
At the end of the File menu, the Hotspot Editor keeps track of the last four graphics that you edited. You can open any one of them by choosing it from the menu.
