This chapter contains suggestions for writing the user documentation that will accompany your OLE client application. Since it is not practical to address the specific documentation requirements for all applications that implement OLE, this chapter is limited to general guidelines that can be followed when writing user documentation, some "boilerplate" text and subject headings, plus a description of the terminology that can be used in documentation that supports OLE applications.
By using variations of the sample text given in this chapter, you can provide basic instructions needed by your end user when using the OLE features in your application.
Note Most user manuals are divided into chapters or major sections. When documenting the OLE features in your application, a separate chapter or section titled "Inserting Objects from Other Programs," is recommended.
