This command changes the grid and spacing values used for editing controls.
The Settings command opens the Arrange Settings dialog box.
Controls can only be positioned or sized to integer multiples of the horizontal and vertical grid values. If you set grid values to greater than one, you may find it easier to align controls with one another.
The Control Spacing constants are used with the Even Spacing–Vertically and Even Spacing–Horizontally commands. These constants are the number of dialog units between controls that are spaced using these commands.
Margins are used with the Push Buttons–Along Bottom and Push Buttons–Down Right Side commands. They determine the number of dialog units that the buttons are inset from the edges of the dialog.
The Push Button Spacing constants are also used with the Push Buttons–Along Bottom and Push Buttons–Down Right Side commands. The vertical constant is the number of dialog units between push buttons arranged down the right side. For buttons arranged along the bottom of the dialog, the Max spacing is the maximum distance that will appear between buttons, and the Min spacing is the minimum distance.
