Use the SETUP program on the disk labeled SETUP/DISK 1 to copy and install the Development Environment. SETUP decompresses the files on the distribution disks and copies each one to your hard disk.
·To install QuickC on your hard disk:
1.Run the SETUP program. SETUP is a Windows program and must be run under Windows.
2.Follow the instructions on the SETUP screens and provide SETUP with the information it requests to correctly copy and install files.
3.Use SETUP's online help to get additional information about the installation process, if necessary.
Once the files are installed, SETUP creates a new work group in the Program Manager (see the illustration below). The work group will contain icons for QC/Win, QuickCase:W, the Dialog Editor, and the Image Editor. Double-click the QC/Win icon to begin using the Development Environment.
