The Merge command inserts another file at the insertion point. It also replaces selected text within the active source window.
·To merge files:
1.Either place the insertion point where you want to merge text or select the text that you want to replace with a new file or text.
2.From the File menu, choose Merge. The Merge dialog box appears.
3.Type a filename or select the file to merge. Follow the same procedures in the Merge dialog box as in the Open File dialog box.
4.Choose OK to merge the specified file at the insertion point.
You can also copy text between windows by using the standard Windows version 3.0 Clipboard techniques.
NOTE:
Merging source files will cause the Undo buffer to be cleared.
